Above is a F5RES model and a trainer for F5RES. Both got over 600g, but fly well.
The "normal" F5RES model seems to be in the 400 to 500g range. The above 2 seem a little overweight, so I had to knock out a light one......... shaving off as much weight as I could.
Well, after a few weeks of shaving and sanding, it finally flew - all 420g of it.
Boy does it fly light.
The nearest is the trainer from above. The far one is the light version. They look very similar and all the dimensions are (about) the same. I think I will love it.

Amazingly it was a really nice day – for a change.
Yes, the Bishop of Winchester had worked out that (about now) the Jet Stream was either in the right or wrong place. He was not alone, many others through Europe knew the same thing.
So – we should actually get some sunshine and settled weather....... Let's all enjoy it.
