Hi Sinkfinder,

The forum can go a bit quite over the winter 'off-season'.
Now the competitions are underway you may well get somemore pointers - especially when we start to see who is flying what this year.

Do keep us informed of how you get on with the Pegasus.

I see you've been in contact with others on the forum about attending some competitions and if possible that is sometimes the best place to get adivce and see how gliders perform.

Guy

Thanks Guy.
I am looking forward to it arriving from Czech Rep, I hope it will do the trick for me. The wing loading is probably a little light for flying in a wind but there may be a bit of room for some removable weight. It looks as if it should be a straight forward build, as it is an ARTF.

I can highly recommend the Pegasus having flown one for the past two years.

You may find it helpful to have a look at this link:http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1584663&highlight=pegasus

Thanks for the Link Stan, it showed the main area to work on is the boom fit and take time getting it right, so will get my digital gauge out that I use on my F3A aircraft and show it a high aspect ratio wing for a change.

Hi Stan, I am posting the build on the link you gave.
It is a nice kit and with some care, I hope I will make it into a good glider. The order of my build, having read the instructions will be in my own order. My power aircraft jig is not going to work so have come up with a new idea, a bit like yours but with the aircraft upright. Laughing
