Weather Calm, with 9% chance of rain it said. I had just put the wings on,when the light drizzle started, so I put the model under a bush and reached for a book; nearly an hour passed beffore it stopped and I did a flight in tricky air. It continued like this for the next 2 flights, taking a total of over 2 hous to complete all 3!

The weather, particularly at the beginning and at the end of the month, was more faviourable than April. Numbers were down on previous years, due partly to health issues and also the other domestic complications.

In Open, Mike just beat Martin by a single normalised point (1000 to 999) with Gordon third on 924.

In 2M, Jon wasfirst with 1000, closely followed by Paul with 989 and Martyn third with 963.
