You can enter with an open glider - 200m Electric - or Chuckie, comp to start at 10Am prompt

please confirm entries to Colin at colindlucas at hotmail dot com do the normal thing with the at and dot.

Location map is at: http://www.esoaring.net/index.php?page=competition-dates look for item 19 reserve date for Southern league and click on Googlemap, Nearest Post Code is BN44 3AL- this takes you to the cross roads of Horsham Road and Spithandle Lane. Immediately opposite Spithandle Lane to the east is the track to Upper Northover Farm. Drive down this track and look out for the signs direction you to the flying field in use on the day.

Hi All

The 3 discipline open comp at Ashurst was well received by all who attended, thanks go to Kevin Beale, who provided most of the equipment for the day and did a great job with the scoring. Colin Lucas was as normal running around as CD making sure we all heard him and running a good competition.

The rules were run along the lines of what has become known as the 'Aldershot open rules' and for the following Sussex open winter league will continue with a couple of small changes, and I hope I have this correct! the Chuckies (or Tossers as you prefer) will have a re launch bonus of 2 Seconds for each of their 2nd 3rd and 4th launch if made. and also the re-launch rule for Glider and electric will be as the 200metre HL E-soaring rule IE. at any time in the slot but must be made from their original launch spot

There will be a competition run at Ashurst on the second Saturday of each month through to March so keep an eye on the forums and your E-mails for confirmation of the date, each date will roll on to the Sunday if weather is bad and then on to the next weekend if still bad Saturday then Sunday. If weather still not playing will roll on to the next month 2nd Saturday and so on. (must be some good weather out there)

I have copied the results below

Cheers

Bernie
